A diverse team of licensed and skilled professionals meet the needs of CGCC's diverse student population by providing a wide range of support services, which include issues related to behavioral, conduct and medical emergencies.

Early Success Referral & Retention Program

A student focused retention and success program.  The Early Success Referral system is designed for faculty and staff to identify and refer those students who may be struggling academically, behaviorally, personally, or could benefit from early detection, intervention and resources.  Once referred, students are encouraged to participate in an initial intake.  The goal is to identify stressors, develop personal and academic goals which support completion and success.

Available interventions and support services may include:

  • Individual short term intervention and assessment
  • Education, mediation and advocacy
  • Personal and skill development
  • Campus and community referrals and resources
