Congratulations!  You have achieved a major educational goal and graduation is a celebration of your accomplishments. There are several steps to take so you can graduate on time and can participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

The priority application deadline for Spring 2016 is March 16, 2016.

The 25th annual Chandler-Gilbert Community College graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2016. The schedule of graduation events is posted on the third tab under "Commencement". 

We at Chandler-Gilbert are just as excited to celebrate and acknowledge your academic achievements as you are!

​Steps to Petition to Graduate

There are steps to take so you can graduate on time and can participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

All the necessary forms and information are here.  Be sure to review and complete all paperwork and advisor visits as required.
You will not participate in Commencement Ceremony if you do not submit your application on time.

Application deadline is March 16, 2016.

Admissions & Records

In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, the graduation fee must be paid at the Fiscal Office located in the Coyote Center.

Seating opens at 4:00 p.m.
Graduates need to check in by 5:00 p.m.

The Sloan Park Concession Stand will be open for the purchase of hot dogs, beverages and other food snacks.

​Spring 2016 Convocation Schedule

Each year the Maricopa Community Colleges host a series of convocations. These are additional special events held to honor students from across the 10 Maricopa colleges. As a CGCC graduate, you are invited to participate in any convocation that will honor you and other students.
We want to personally invite you and your family to attend any convocation you find appropriate for you. Below is a list of dates, times and locations for each of the convocations as well as a contact for the event. It is important that you register to attend and tell how many guests you will bring.
For planning purposes, you must register in advance.
