Hello and welcome to your future at Chandler-Gilbert Community College!

My name is Yoroba Russell and I’m from the Greater Cleveland area where The Ohio State Buckeye’s rule! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Notre Dame College, a small private school in Ohio. I then went on to complete my Masters of Business Degree from the University of Phoenix in 2008. My family and I relocated to Arizona in 2008 and enjoy the welcome change of sunshine and warm weather.

My professional background consists of 9 years of working in higher education primarily working with new students, re-entry and graduate students focusing on changing their lives with education. I also have an extensive background in academic advising and financial aid expertise for students to be successful from the beginning of their college experience until graduation.

My commitment to you as a student is I believe anyone can be successful with the best resources and tools to support their educational and career goals. I look forward to working with you, please feel free to stop by and say hello as my door is always open. My office is at the Pecos campus in the Coyote Welcome Center.

Welcome to Chandler Gilbert Community College! My name is Alex Sager and I am a local to the Chandler/Gilbert area here in Arizona. As a committed Sun Devil, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Air Traffic Management as well as a Master of Education degree in Higher and Post-secondary Education from Arizona State University. I have a diverse background in higher education that includes experiences in both university and community college settings. My professional experience in higher education has offered me the chance to heavily interact with students through Student Services and Student Life (clubs and organizations).

I believe that my role in higher education is to support students paving the path toward their personal and professional goals. I am happy to support you through every step of the new student process and offer you the direction and information you need. Consider me your primary contact to getting plugged in here at CGCC.
