IMPORTANT DEADLINES\DATES

Summer 2013
April 1, 2013	Priority filing date for new and continuing students to submit the 2012-2013 FAFSA application and any Financial Aid To Do items on the my.maricopa.edu self-service site. Students who submit all required paperwork by the priority date will have their application reviewed before the tuition due date. Applications received after this date will still be considered for aid, but the student will not receive their award letter until after the start of the term. Students who file after the priority date should be prepared to use their own funds to pay for their tuition and fees prior to the tuition due date.
May 28, 2013	Summer classes begin. Note: Students with late starting classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past the below listed dates, students should plan accordingly.
May 29, 2013	Summer Pell Census Date at 5:00 PM. A student must register for all classes by this deadline to be considered in determining final Pell Grant amount for the term. Courses also include those recognized through the completion of a consortium agreement. If a student registers for additional courses after this date, additional Pell Grant cannot be awarded. Pell awards for financial aid applications received after this date will be calculated based on the student's enrollment at the time the application is received.
May 29, 2013	Consortium Agreement deadline for submission.
June 5 – June 10, 2013	Estimated date summer financial aid refunds will be processed by the college. You will receive notification from Citi with details on how you would like to receive your refund. Students with late starting classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past this date, students should plan accordingly.
June 6, 2013	Last day to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals for Maximum Timeframe. Requests submitted after this date will be considered for the following term.
June 13, 2013	Last day to submit documents (tax returns, verification worksheet, etc.) needed to complete your summer 2013 financial aid file.
June 20, 2013	Deadline for students to submit appeals for SAP and MTF to be considered for Summer 2013 awards.
June 25, 2013	Estimated date second disbursement of summer loan financial aid refunds, for students attending the 8 week summer term, will be processed by the college. You will receive notification from Citi with details on how you would like to receive your refund. Students with late starting classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past this date, students should plan accordingly.
June 27, 2013	Estimated date first time, first year 30 day delay loan recipients will have the summer term loan applied toward paying spring fees and refunds will be processed by the college. You will receive notification from Citi with details to sign up for how you would like to receive your refund. Students with late starting classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past this date, students should plan accordingly
August 15, 2013	Last day of summer term.
