How do I apply for admission?

Am I required to take ACT or SAT exams for admission into CGCC?
No.  However, the university or college you plan to transfer to after CGCC may require ACT/SAT test scores

Do you offer telephone or online advising?
Telephone advising is available on a limited basis.  Priority is given to students who come into the Advising Center

How do I send my previous college transcripts to CGCC for evaluation?
Have your official transcripts sent to our Records office.  The address is as follows:

Once Admissions and Records receives the transcripts you will need to submit a request for transcript evaluation form.

How do I decide my major?
Choosing a major can be a difficult process.  It is an individual decision that each student has to make on his/her own.  If you are having difficulty selecting a major, please come in to speak with an advisor, or visit the Career and Placement Services Office for assistance.
