How do I apply for admission?
You can apply to CGCC three ways:
- Online
- By Phone
- In person
The online application can be found at
My.Maricopa.edu. Please follow the directions. Standard applications can be found in the Advising Center. All standard applications should be turned into the Admissions and Records Office located adjacent to the Advising Center.
Am I required to take ACT or SAT exams for admission into CGCC?
No. However, the university or college you plan to transfer to after CGCC may require ACT/SAT test scores
Do you offer telephone or online advising?
Telephone advising is available on a limited basis. Priority is given to students who come into the Advising Center
How do I send my previous college transcripts to CGCC for evaluation?
Have your official transcripts sent to our Records office. The address is as follows:

Once Admissions and Records receives the transcripts you will need to submit a request for transcript evaluation form.
How do I decide my major?
Choosing a major can be a difficult process. It is an individual decision that each student has to make on his/her own. If you are having difficulty selecting a major, please come in to speak with an advisor, or visit the
Career and Placement Services Office for assistance.
