Sex Addiction in a Changing World with J.P. Crum

This presentation will focus on identifying, assessing, and treating sex addiction. Current issues in the field of sex addiction treatment will be discussed. The process of identifying and assessing sex addiction will be described as well as various treatment strategies. John Paul (J.P.) Crum obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Reno with a dual major in Psychology and Sociology. He currently is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. J.P. is a practicum student under the supervision of Dr. Marcus Earle, gaining experience in an intensive outpatient program that treats patients presenting with sexually compulsive behaviors, trauma, family of origin issues, addiction, and other severe symptoms that require immediate and intensive therapeutic intervention.

Lectures are open to all students, faculty, and staff.
Students do not need to be in the Psychology Club or be a psychology major.
