​Welcome to the Composition, Creative Writing, and Literature Division at CGCC. Our division offers courses in English, English Humanities, Humanities, Creative Writing, Reading, and Journalism. Our division offers many developmental courses that help our students succeed in pursuing higher educational opportunities. Our innovative faculty are committed to collaborative learning and fostering a meaningful learning environment that is learner-centered. Many of the courses include service learning and learning community experiences. Classes are scheduled to offer flexibility in completing your academic goals at CGCC. The Composition, Creative Writing, and Literature Division offers courses on both the Pecos and the Williams campus during the day and at night, in both traditional and accelerated formats, and some courses are offered online.
