Joaquin Franco: “To me, art is a feeling that an artist wants you to experience whether it be sadness or even just confusion. As an artist, that is what I try to convey in each one of my pieces. I'm very intrigued with organic shapes, nature, and free flowing forms, all of which are recurring themes in my work. Often I try to find ways of disguising my art to give the effect of having an image within an image. My ideas often arrive sporadically, incomplete, so my approach to working is always multitasking different pieces and getting inspiration from other works as I go. I find this approach very therapeutic and relaxing."
