Choreographer, Ballet, Co-Director and Co-Founder CGCC TranscenDANCE Company

Janelle Fehser Paris began her dance career in a very unconventional way. In her freshman year of college at Cal State Long Beach as a piano performance major, Janelle got a job as an accompanist for the ballet technique classes. Despite having played piano her whole life, she became instantly fascinated with the beauty and expression of the dance arts. She dropped out of school and began learning dance anywhere and everywhere she could. Two years later, she began performing in musicals and dancing across the country as well as on a cruise ship. After relocating to AZ, Janelle continued her education, this time as a dance and choreography major at ASU where she received her BFA in Dance. Her choreography is well sought after for a variety of projects including musicals, high school dance companies, college residencies, and numerous valley showcases. She currently teaches dance at several local studios as well as at CGCC where she is co-founder and co-director of CGCC TranscenDANCE Company. In addition, she started her own dance Company, Conjure Contemporary Dance, which is in it's first season. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dogs, playing the piano and cooking.
