Getting Started

Important dates for 2014-2015:
Monday, September 22, 2014: Registration, payment, and refund deadline for fall and year-long classes
Monday, February 16, 2015: Registration, payment, and refund deadline for spring classes
          
Note: Students who do not provide their registration forms during the designated due date for their high school are responsible for bringing their paperwork to Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Check the Dual Enrollment Calendar for your high school's turn-in dates.
 
Steps to complete:
  1. Create MEID

  2. Complete Admissions to CGCC (Fill out Student Information Form)

  3. Take a Placement Test
    Students wanting to take Math and English courses, or who have not taken and met/exceeded on the High School AIMS test, need to pass ACCUPLACER placement tests in order to register. Please review the MCCCD Placement Chart for minimum test requirements.
  4. Activate Student Email
    Go to Student Email and log in with your MEID and Password. This email will be used for all college communication and should also be forwarded to your personal email account using these instructions.
  5. Submit Registration Packet at your high school or CGCC
    Please refer to the class lists page to see what is available at your high school. Complete the Dual Enrollment Registration Form and submit it to your teacher at your high school by the turn-in deadline, or turn it in at the CGCC Admissions and Records office in Agave Hall - AGA 134. Online registration for dual enrollment students is not available at this time.
    Note: For in-state tuition, students must submit the Student Declaration of Citizenship or Status form along with a copy of documentation confirming U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen status. For more information, go to my.maricopa.edu/student-services/residency-citizenship-requirements.
  6. Pay Tuition
    Pay online by logging in to your Student Center at my.maricopa.edu and clicking the "Make a payment" button under the "Finances" section. Using this option allows you to pay all at once or sign up for the monthly payment plan (make a payment instructions). Payments can also be made in person at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Cashier's Office or by calling the Cashier's Office at 480-732-7312 and having your college ID number ready. Failure to pay tuition by the payment deadline will not result in being dropped from the class, however it will prevent any future enrollment and make official transcripts unavailable.
