Description

​Company: A private pay, small business that manages the healthcare needs for elderly, disabled and mentally ill people
when family or legally responsible person is not available to be the eyes and ears of their family member's treatment.
Clients are generally elderly and often have memory issues. They can also be children or young adults with disabilities
where the family needs to hire someone to help them navigate all the services available to them. Family/legally responsible
person often lives in a different state than their loved one (client) and hires us to be a "General Contractor" of healthcare
needs for all of the medical and personal needs of their family member.
Position: Clerical Secretary Hours: 24-30 hours/ weekly Compensation: $11-12/hour
Location: From home on personal computer with
40-60% daily tasks to include traveling within the Phoenix Metro area for errands
• Duties
o Appointment confirmations phone calls and emails
o Fax monitoring and distribution
o Scanning, naming, e-filing, paper filing, and distributing documents and records
o Completion of medical paperwork for clients
o Client and project research- given topics and parameters with a 2-5 day turn around expectancy
o Contact tracking- data entry in multiple locations
o Calls to clients and business contacts as directed
o Monitoring of staff calendars and reminders
o Various client errands, business errands, and business owner’s personal errands- including shopping
for clothing, toiletries, pharmacy items, etc.
ß Drive time and mileage paid; Travel area= Sun City to E Mesa, N Scottsdale to Sun Lakes
o Shredding
• Essential Candidate Qualities:
o Responsible, reliable, upbeat, self-starter, trustworthy, team player
o Able to complete tasks quickly
o Computer and internet savvy- knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
o Must have own car, computer, and high-speed internet
o Willing to drive the whole valley in own vehicle (mileage reimbursed); has auto insurance
o Strong organizational skills (able to manage time, paperwork, data entry and communication effectively)
o Works well under pressure and able to track information coming from multiple sources (phone, email, text, inperson)
o Observant, detail oriented, with strong memory for the "little things"
o Exhibits patience, caring demeanor, and constant smile while always thinking about how to best meet the
needs of the client
o An understanding that our clients are paying for a private service and expect the highest level of service and
professionalism
