Knowledge & Abilities:
Knowledge of: IBM/Macintosh microcomputer, data base and word processing. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in a computer lab environment
• Demonstrated knowledge in computer applications

Training & Experience:
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required Knowledge and Abilities. An example of this would be college coursework and/or experience in IBM/Macintosh microcomputer, data base and information processing.

Working Conditions:
Positions in this class may be exposed to cold temperatures; may be required to lift up to 50-lb. objects. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.

Rate of Pay:
$9.40 per hr. (no benefits)

SUMMARY
Sales reconciliation: Reconciles drivers’ routes by balancing loadsheets against invoices and product returned to warehouse.
Cashier: Receives, records and verifies cash and checks from delivery personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Cashiering Duties:
Receives, processes, and balances daily delivery route invoices against checks and cash received.

Operates a cash settlement system (data entry to PC and currency counter) to balance daily delivery routes.

Operates check scanning system to scan and balance daily check deposit.

Maintains supply inventory for cashier and driver check-in area.

Maintains, reconciles and disburses petty cash funds.

Preparation of daily bank deposit upon completion of cashiering and route reconciliation.


Sales Reconciliation Duties:
Operates keyboard to reconcile drivers’ routes.

Assists sales and delivery staff, including Team Leaders, with research and analysis of driver invoices and loadsheet settlement during daily route reconciliation and cashiering activities.

Coordinates nightly settlement activities in Chandler. This includes assuring all routes are cashiered and settled in a timely fashion, balancing totals for all routes against the bank deposit, clearing driver variances, and communicating any issues to the Sales Reconciliation Manager.

Coordinates nightly settlement activities for all three houses as needed. This includes verifying Phoenix and Prescott route totals against bank deposit numbers as communicated by each house, and then preparing and balancing all routes on the VIP system for the nightly register process.

Performs Nightly Register process, assuring the process runs smoothly with no errors and completes in a timely fashion.

Distributes and files daily posting reports for Chandler which include the retailer error invoices and delivery cash or product error invoices to Operations.
